Nadia's Initiative's 2nd Women's Business Incubator: Coffee Shop

Economically empowering women is critical to the sustainable redevelopment of Sinjar, including restoring the region’s economic growth, health, and education, and promoting women’s equal rights.

Following its first women's small business incubator program, Nadia's Initiative launched a second cycle, providing another 50 women with a wide range of business trainings, financial grants, guidance to create savings groups, and digitization plans to establish their own small businesses. Individual and group therapy sessions are also provided to women in this program in order to improve their mental health and well-being.

We know from the success of the first program that empowering women in post-conflict settings to tangibly and sustainably rebuild their lives reduces their marginalization and vulnerability and restores their agency.

This project is funded by UAE Aid.
