Nadia's Initiative Brings Clean Water to Zikdukhan Village in South Sinjar

Nadia’s Initiative recently provided and installed reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration units in 22 households in Zikdukhan village, bringing clean, potable water to 203 individuals. This was a crucial step in our ongoing comprehensive WASH project, which is restoring clean water to 22 villages in North and South Sinjar and nearly 80,000 residents.

Nadia’s Initiative believes that access to safe drinking water is a basic human right and necessary for rehabilitating any post-conflict community. Humans can neither live nor thrive without access to water. We will continue to work tirelessly until all villages in Sinjar have clean water restored to them.

This project was funded by UAE Aid.
