2022 Year End Review: Education

2022 has been a busy year for our education projects in Sinjar! We love to see our work make a tangible difference in the lives of children who have endured war, violence, and displacement.

Nadia’s Initiative has been hard at work this year constructing and furnishing: 

4 primary schools 

2 new high school libraries

As well as:

Constructing disability inclusive WASH facilities in 7 schools 

Training 600 volunteer teachers in student-centric teaching methods and child protection

Rehabilitating and operating Sinjar kindergarten

Providing 14 schools with furniture and supplies

… to pave the way for the return of 10,000 students to quality education!
