Powering Clean Water: Nadia's Initiative Installs 5 Electricity Transformers in Alqahtaniya Complex

Nadia’s Initiative’s comprehensive WASH project in Sinjar, funded by UAE Aid, addresses emergency WASH needs throughout the region.

In response to a request from the municipality, Nadia’s Initiative installed 5 electricity transformers in Alqahtaniya complex to ensure that boreholes in the area are continuously powered to provide clean water. The now functioning boreholes are providing clean water to 2,749 residents in five different areas of the complex.
