Nadia's Initiative Opens its Fifth Library at Al Walid High School
After 6 months of construction, furnishing, and procuring over a thousand books, Al Walid High School library is now accessible to the public.
Libraries are safe spaces that encourage learning and help children who have survived protracted displacement and conflict heal from their trauma. Al Walid High School library was designed to provide both students and community members with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and rediscover their love of learning.
The library will be open to 345 students from Al Walid High School, as well as staff members, teachers, and residents of Tel Banat village.
