Inclusive Learning Environments for Students with Disabilities in Sinjar
Inclusive learning environments help students with disabilities understand their rights, build confidence, and focus on achieving better educational outcomes. Inclusivity fosters a culture of accepting individual differences, laying the groundwork for peaceful coexistence.
Nadia's Initiative is now working to upgrade the WASH facilities at seven schools in Sinjar to make them more accessible to children with disabilities. These improved facilities, which include wheelchair ramps and wheelchair accessible bathrooms, will offer safe sanitary facilities for students with disabilities in:
Duhola Secondary School
Sinjar Secondary School for Boys
Al Shemal Secondary School for Boys
Al Walid Secondary School
Bashok Primary School
Iraq 1st Primary School
Golat Primary School
