Economic uncertainty in Sinjar negatively impacts the region's capacity to maintain peace and social stability, while also limiting thousands of Yazidi returnees’ access to basic services like education and healthcare. Without comprehensive assistance for socioeconomic reintegration and economic opportunities, returnees are unable to sustainably rebuild their lives.
