Re-Establishing Sinjar's Old Market to Boost Local Commerce

Vendors in Sinjar have established kiosks around Yarmouk Roundabout because the Sinjar City’s Old Market was destroyed. The Municipality has declared the kiosk illegal and is planning to force the vendors to relocate.

To address this issue, Nadia's Initiative, in partnership with USAID, is re-establishing Sinjar's Old Market to boost local commerce and provide 60 vendors with a clean, well-maintained space to sell their goods. This initiative will also benefit over 12,000 residents who will have improved access to local products.
