New Library in Khanasor Village
Enabling students who have endured genocide and protracted displacement to return to learning in their areas of origin is a vital component of Nadia’s Initiative’s work to restore education in the Sinjar region. By constructing a new library in Al Taamim High School, Nadia's Initiative is ensuring that students have access to quality education and a wealth of knowledge.
Taamim High School’s newly opened library will help improve the reading habits of 875 students in Khanasor and the surrounding areas.
This project is financed by funds of the federal state as decided by the parliament of Baden-Württemberg through Stiftung Entwicklungs-Zusammenarbeit Baden-Württemberg (SEZ).
