Nadia's Initiative's Giving Tuesday Campaign: Empowered Women Empower Women
This #GivingTuesday, Nadia's Initiative is focusing on holistically empowering women in post-conflict settings to heal and rebuild their lives. In order to do so, our flagship women's empowerment project in 2023 will be the construction and official opening of Sinjar's first ever holistic Women's Center.
The center will be a one-stop-shop for all women in the region - a safe place where they can access an array of services from psychological care to vocational and leadership training to legal aid to free childcare. The full scope of services provided at the center will ultimately be determined by the center's female beneficiaries.
