Nadia's Initiative Supports Tel Azeer and Khanasor Primary Health Centers
Maternal healthcare is often under resourced in Sinjar, making female residents vulnerable to complications during and after childbirth. Focusing on providing primary health centers with the equipment and materials they need, as well as tailored staff trainings, helps them reduce mortality rates and improve quality of care.
That is why Nadia’s Initiative provided equipment and supplies to Tel Azeer and Khanasor PHCs in North and South Sinjar. Supporting existing PHCs to improve their capacities to address community needs is vital to ensuring the sustainable operation of these centers.
This project was funded by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
