Nadia's Initiative Restores Clean Water in Alqahtaniya

Global warming and climate change are serious threats to water-stressed regions like South Sinjar, where residents have little to no access to potable water.

To address this pressing issue in a sustainable way, Nadia’s Initiative rehabilitated the WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) infrastructure in the Alqahtaniya complex.

This comprehensive rehabilitation included drilling a new borehole, as well as installing a tank, a transformer, and a water network that will provide the entire complex with clean water.
