Nadia's Initiative Officially Opens Sinjar Kindergarten

Nadia’s Initiative and implementing partner Sunrise NGO rehabilitated and officially reopened Sinjar Kindergarten! The new kindergarten will provide young children in the area with early childhood education, including group therapy and other psychosocial support sessions.

Providing a safe space to play for young child survivors is crucial to facilitating their healing from the trauma of genocide and displacement.

This project if funded by Austrian Development Agency, with funds from Austrian Development Cooperation.
