Nadia's Initiative is Restoring Clean Water in Kani Sarki Village

Potable water has always been difficult to come by in the Sinjar region, and ISIS' destruction of water tanks and pipelines has made life even more difficult for the residents of Kani Sarki village. Water contamination has impacted their sanitation and health, as well as agricultural livelihoods.

Nadia's Initiative is meeting these needs by implementing a comprehensive WASH project in Kani Sarki village. With support from UAE Aid, we are restoring the village's electrical transformer, borehole room, water tank, and internal networks.
