Climate change is fueling water shortages in the Sinjar region. Iraq is facing an unprecedented drought that is threatening regional food systems. Water and sanitation infrastructure is more important now than ever, which is why Nadia’s Initiative and UAE Aid are expanding our WASH restoration program to include Adnaniya, Kondi Azeer, Bobi, and Tel Azeer villages.
