Nadia's Initiative Completes Phase 1 of its Comprehensive WASH Project

To meet the Sinjar region's critical demand for clean water, Nadia’s Initiative is comprehensively rehabilitating the region’s water and sanitation infrastructure. As of the end of 2021, clean water was fully restored to NI’s Phase 1 villages and complexes of its current WASH project – Zorava, Dugure, and Hardan – in North Sinjar.

The rehabilitated and new infrastructure, including boreholes, pump rooms, electrical transformers, a pipeline, and internal water networks, will now provide safe drinking water to more than 21,000 residents.
