Nadia's Initiative and USAID Work to Remove Rubble from Critical Areas in Sinjar

The destruction of Sinjar City in 2014 left behind significant amounts of rubble that impede public life and mobility. The local municipality lacks the resources and capacity to address the issue. That’s why Nadia’s Initiative is working with USAID ICRI Ta'afi to remove the rubble from two locations in the center of the city. Thanks to funding from USAID, access to these important public spaces will be restored.
