Nadia Delivers Keynote for International Women’s Day at the French Ministry in Paris
This week, Nadia spoke at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris, delivering the opening keynote for a special International Women’s Day event. This gathering not only celebrated the progress of women worldwide but also marked the official launch of France’s International Strategy for Feminist Diplomacy.
Bringing together feminist civil society organizations, women’s human rights defenders, and other key stakeholders, the event reinforced the urgent need for collective action to advance women’s rights and gender equality globally.
During her keynote, Nadia shared, “On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who have fought for change, often at great personal risk. Women who have broken barriers, challenged stereotypes, and paved the way for future generations. But we must also remember the women whose stories go untold—the women in rural villages, refugee camps, and war zones who fight for survival and dignity every single day.”
On this International Women’s Day, we honor the women leading change—and reaffirm our commitment to amplifying the voices of those who too often go unheard.
