Investing in Sinjar’s Healthcare Sector

Sinjar’s healthcare sector has been struggling for years, but after ISIS’ invasion in 2014, it took a particularly hard hit. Today, 90% of Sinjar residents struggle to access basic healthcare services.

We’re working to improve the health sector in Sinjar by supporting healthcare centers and hospitals with reconstruction, provision of medicine and medical equipment, furnishings, and trauma-informed staff trainings.
