Barriers to Healthcare in Sinjar, Iraq

Seven years after ISIS destroyed Sinjar’s hospitals and health clinics, Yazidis who have returned still face many barriers to accessing quality and affordable healthcare. Long distances to the nearest healthcare facilities make it challenging to seek routine care and receive timely treatment of emergency cases.
