Access to Education Brings Hope to Wardiya

Nadia’s Initiative is working on rehabilitating Wardiya Mixed Primary School, as part of our WASH project to restore clean water to 23 villages across Sinjar.

Once rehabilitated, the school will have fully functional water and sanitation facilities, including drinking water, latrines, and adequate hand washing stations.

This new school will enable 150 students from Wardiya village and the neighboring areas to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, healthy learning environment.

Nadia’s Initiative’s development work focuses on the holistic and comprehensive rebuilding of villages and complexes in Sinjar. Prior to Wardiya Mixed Primary School, Nadia’s Initiative also rehabilitated the Primary Health Center and another primary school in the village.
