2022 Year End Review: Livelihoods and WASH
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is seeing a visible improvement in the quality of life for displaced persons who have bravely returned to their areas of origin. From restoring olive groves and farmlands to rebuilding houses to ensuring access to clean water, Nadia’s Initiative’s 2022 livelihoods and WASH work directly benefitted over 100,000 residents in Sinjar and Bashiqa.
Improved physical security means ensuring that all returnees have a roof over their heads, healthy food on their tables, clean water in their glasses, and job opportunities available to them.
