Nadia’s Initiative believes there is hope for post-conflict communities. Everyday we work to help survivors of genocide and conflict-related sexual violence heal and thrive. This holiday season, our Nadia's Initiative gifts will support our current work in Sinjar as well as the projects we have planned for 2024. Each donation comes with a printable gift certificate and throughout 2024 we will bring you updates on each of these projects on our social media channels.
Help Us Equip the NI Women’s Center (Opening in 2024)
$20 buys toys and art supplies for the children’s day care in our new Women’s Center
$200 buys a computer for our Women's Center in which survivors can use for training or accessing support
$500 buys one beneficiary a year’s worth of trauma support programming
Help Support NI’s Women’s Sports Complex
$10 buys books for the libraries we are building in our Women’s Center and Women’s Sports Complex
$50 buys sports equipment and supplies for our sports complex, where the communitfoot only has access to exercise and games, but where we also run literacy, communication and leadership classes
Help Support Community-Led Initiatives in Sinjar
$5 buys art supplies and decorations for our child friendly spaces
$30 buys 10 trees to be planted by volunteers across the region to create shelter and mitigate the effects of climate change
